Amazon Web Services (AWS) was fundamental to the creation of the cloud market and remains by far the largest cloud provider, with the longest history and the biggest ecosystem. It combines scale, innovation, and a vast partner ecosystem to act as the backbone for the as-a-service and AI industry worldwide.
AWS continues to invest heavily in next‑generation infrastructure, including up to $50 billion for US government AI and supercomputing capabilities, and billions more across multiple US states for new data centers.

Nevertheless, PAC considers AWS well‑positioned to sustain growth driven by AI and cloud pull‑through; however, regulatory, geopolitical, and execution risks will determine global momentum.
