Figure of the day: Application Services in Sweden

According to PAC, Application-related services (consulting, system integration, training and application management) will generate a €4.6bn market in 2021 in Sweden, making it the seventh largest market in Western Europe.

Following a moderate 5.4% decline in 2020, the Swedish market is expected to recover in 2021 and accelerate in the coming years, thus exceeding the 2019 level as soon as in 2022.

The Swedish market represents by far the largest among the Nordics markets, generating 42% of the region, ahead of Denmark (22%), Finland (19%) and Norway (18%). The region as a whole proved to be significantly more resilient than the European average.
