Figure of the day: Importance of business process outsourcing - CxO survey - Austria

One surprising result from the PAC's CxO Investment Survey is that outsourcing, which has been historically underrepresented in Austria for many years, is likely to increase in importance in the future. The outsourcing of entire business processes or services (35%) and the management of applications (30%) were mentioned as being of particular interest to Austrian organizations in the next two years. PAC expects this to be due to lower GDP forecasts for the coming years (mainly pandemic-induced), which result in many companies handing over control of applications or entire business areas to specialist vendors to achieve cost savings.
