Those manufacturers will be successful who have understood that it is key to fully align their products and services portfolio with ever faster-changing market needs and increasingly complex consumer and customer requirements.
More than ever, manufacturing CxOs will therefore have to ensure an agile and flexible manufacturing approach. This will not only apply to manufacturers of consumer products, but in particular and increasingly also to manufacturers of industrial products. Product-centric manufacturing approaches have to be transformed towards a consumer-driven approach. Besides, consumer-driven manufacturing is about anticipating the needs of the product or service’s ultimate user, and about always being able to respond in a highly flexible, agile, yet cost-optimized manner!
Learn more about how to transform manufacturing from being product-centric towards following a consumer-driven approach in our Whitepaper “Consumer-driven manufacturing” (in cooperation with Atos), which is available for download as of now.
