Figure of the day: Major goal of digital transformation projects - CxO survey - Sweden

Digital transformation is clearly a very important tool in enhancing existing products and services. Connected products offer many customer benefits and enable new service concepts. Also, in many industries, business is working hard to transform its product offerings into service offerings. 55% of the enterprise leaders we surveyed for the CxO Investment Survey in Sweden say that enhancing existing products and services is the major goal of their organization's digital transformation projects. Manufacturing stands out with 67%. Another 28% have it as a minor goal, leaving only 6% of manufacturing companies claiming “no goal”.
