40% of the enterprise leaders in the banking and insurance sector we surveyed for the CxO Investment Survey worldwide rate optimization of end-user experience as a major IT challenge for their organization.

Major challenges related to the optimization of end-user experience were frequently cited by FIs in Southern (51%) and Central Europe (45%). Another 38% perceive the changing needs of customers in a digital world as challenging. 

Advanced usage of digital customer channels (consultation and banking via web portals or mobile applications) can help FIs to benefit from the cost optimization potential of a more digitalized customer relationship and increased cross-selling opportunities.
