Figure of th day: Application Services in the Netherlands

In the Netherlands, application-related services (consulting, system integration, training and application management) will generate a €5bn market in 2021, building the fifth largest market in Europe.

Following a substantial 8% decrease in 2020, slightly better than the European average, the Dutch market is expected to rebound in 2021 and to accelerate in the coming years, thus reaching its 2019 level as soon as in 2022. The Dutch market suffered less than the European average. The lower exposure to manufacturing and the high share of application management had a positive effect. Moreover the historical high share of contract staff has decreased along the last decade.
