Realizing the Circular Economy with Digital Technology - InBrief Analysis - Worldwide

The circular economy is a model of production and consumption that generates as little waste and pollution as possible, increases the number of times products and materials are used, and allows nature to regenerate. With the 6 Rs (reduce, reuse, remanufacture, refurbish, repair, and recycle), a basic concept has been developed that allows companies from all industries to implement the circular economy in their activities. In this report, we look at how the software and IT services industry can support the advance of the circular economy. Along the 6 Rs, we have identified several IT providers that offer products to help their clients transition to more sustainable operations.
