Visma strengthens its position in the Netherlands

ERP challenger Visma has started 2021 with a new acquisition in the Netherlands. It has just swooped for Outstanding24, a move that builds on its previous acquisition in the country, Onguard, some 11 months earlier.

Breda-based Outstanding24 was founded in 2017. Led by Anton Maas, it is a cloud solution provider in the credit management space targeting SMEs. The cloud solutions it provides are linked to the customer's existing accounting software and are capable of integrating with accounting solutions offered by other Dutch vendors, including Unit4, Exact, and AFAS Software.

Onguard (now rebranded as Visma Onguard) has offices in Amsterdam and is a provider of cloud-based order-to-cash solutions that incorporates intelligent automation. The portfolio covers risk management, credit insurance, e-invoicing, automatic payment processing, cash allocation, credit management, and debt collection. It also enables tailored customer communication as users can assess risks, segment customers, track outstanding invoices, and automate repetitive tasks while integrating and sharing data in real-time. Visma Onguard also offers consultancy, training, and support services to ensure its solutions fully integrate in to customers' business processes.

Customers already leveraging solutions offered by Visma Onguard include, Engie, Bierens, Enexis, Atos, Canon, BG Freight Line, among others. With the acquisition of Outstanding24, Visma Onguard adds customers, including Stella Analyse BV, Red Melon, Van Santes Advies, and Jantril Monitoring, among others. Other brands that are part of the Dutch Visma umbrella include Visma Raet, Visma Connect, Visma Idella, Visma Roxit, PinkWeb, ProActive, Dotweb, HR2day, VerzuimSignaal, PlusPort, and Circle Software.

With the addition of Outstanding24, Visma Onguard adds an innovative cloud solution strengthening its position in order-to-cash and credit management. In PAC's view, this is a sensible acquisition by Visma. The growing number of Dutch SMEs and single-person companies are working remotely and need a reliable cloud-based order-to-cash and credit management system to provide the intelligent and real-time data insight they need to respond to fast-changing market conditions.
