Wolters Kluwer is positioning itself as the global leader in “Expert AI” solutions for regulated professions. In February 2026, Stacey Caywood succeeded Nancy McKinstry as CEO, reaffirming the 2025–2027 strategy while accelerating AI innovation, partnerships (including an expanded OpenAI enterprise collaboration), and go-to-market capabilities.

  • Scale Expert Solutions: accelerate cloud adoption (+15% organic in FY25, 46% of software revenue); embed GenAI and agentic AI via the proprietary FAB platform — ~70% of digital revenues are already AI-powered
  •  Accelerate Growth: expand into adjacencies via build, buy, or partner (RASi, Brightflag, Libra, StandardFusion; FRR divested); strengthen partnerships (OpenAI, Microsoft, Abridge)
  • Evolve Capabilities: sharpen data-driven sales processes; scale engineering in India (new Pune hub); lead in sustainability
