Atos - Vendor Profile - Worldwide

PAC’s view and positioning

Atos regained some financial footing in 2025: it doubled its operating margin to 4.4% despite a revenue contraction of nearly ‑14%. The company is recognized for cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital workplace, application services, and agentic AI. It also used to have high‑performance computing (HPC) and quantum capabilities, from its former Big Data & Security division, which it sold to the French State in March 2026. Finally, Atos is well-known for its strengths in digital sovereignty, sustainability, and IT services for major global events, such as UEFA competitions.

Genesis strategy and financial roadmap

Atos’s Genesis transformation plan (2025–2028) was enriched in 2026 with three pillars: Digital Sovereignty, Cybersecurity, and Agentic AI. Key actions include brand clarification (return to Atos for services, Eviden for hardware and software products, and Bull relaunched for HPC), creating a consolidated Data & AI business line, and ambitious targets for organic revenue growth and operating margin by 2028. Cost and efficiency levers include higher utilization, G&A expense reduction, increased nearshore/offshore delivery, and automation.

Go‑to‑market and organization

As part of the Genesis program, Atos simplified its portfolio around 9 lines of business, among which are Eviden and Atos Amplify, its new business consulting brand. It centralized its AI efforts in its new Data & AI entity to scale use cases and aims to grow the number of Data & AI experts significantly. The GTM is focused on existing clients via Client Executive Partners. Core geographies are prioritized (North America, Germany – Austria – Central Europe, France, UK & Ireland, Benelux & Nordics, International Markets).
