Accenture is a leading IT services provider with strong capabilities in digital, cloud, and security. Its capabilities span strategy, consulting, technology, operations, Song, and Industry X, which have now been brought together under the Reinvention Services model. The company employs more than 770,000 people worldwide and generated revenues of USD 69.7 billion in FY2025. Some insights:

  • Over the past few years, Accenture has pursued a vigorous acquisition strategy, mostly to expand its digital capabilities, but also its technology and domain expertise. In Switzerland, two relevant local acquisitions were made in 2021: Swiss Trivadis (120-130 employees in CH; an end-to-end IT services provider) and Swiss-German Wabion (a Google Cloud specialist boutique).
  • Accenture’s focus areas include AI/GenAI/agentic AI – technologies that boost productivity and efficiency and support the transformation of processes and business operations.
