The first business app vendors started embedding AI in their apps years ago. In 2023, we have seen an acceleration of this trend, driven by the integration of generative AI capabilities. Whether we talk about horizontal apps (ERP, CRM, HCM, etc.) or vertical apps (PLM, SCM, industry-specific apps), there has been a general interest in state-of-the-art AI features to drive growth in an increasingly competitive market. In 2024, we expect some solutions in selected functional areas to be mature enough to be actively used by customers and see broader adoption.
