Top 15 IT Services in EMEA
Accenture confirms its lead, Tata Consultancy Services on the podium, Infosys and Sopra Steria fastest growing, KPMG enters the Top 15.
PAC published its first vendor rankings by 2024 EMEA revenue a few weeks ago.
Accenture remains the leader in the EMEA IT services market, raising its revenue by 2.5% (in €). Following a 2% decrease in H1, Accenture returned to growth in Q3, ending with a strong +6% in Q4 (ca. 3% organic). France was the main issue, finally returning to growth. Italy was the fastest growing unit throughout the year. The UK was the worse market in Q1, yet ended strong. Germany and Spain grew average, Benelux & Nordics did better.
Capgemini secured its 2nd place, yet losing ground to its main competitors with -0.5% (in €). France decreased 3.5%, even worsening in Q4 (-6%). The UK started with -3% in Q1, yet improved along the year, ending up with +1.5% in Q4. Germany & Nordics were nearly flat, the Netherlands did well.
TCS is the new 3rd, displacing IBM. TCS grew 4.5% in EMEA, with 5% growth in the UK contrasting with flat revenue in Continental Europe. Germany was flat, Benelux did well.
IBM grew its IT services revenue by 2.5%, with stronger growth at IBM Consulting (4%). Growth was highest in the UK, sustained in Germany, while revenue contracted in France.
Atos secured its 5th place, though IT Services revenue decreased 8% (in €; half of it being inorganic). Atos decreased slightly in France & Germany, dropped massively in the UK (completion of a major BPO contract).
Deloitte (+3% in €) struggled in the UK, yet kept growing two-digits in Germany.
DXC Technology (-2% in €) reported a further decrease in GIS and a slight increase in GBS. The UK decreased 5% (in UK£), Continental Europe was slightly more resilient.
NTT DATA (+2.5%) won one place, with growth driven by the SAP Services business. Germany grew average, Spain did well.
Sopra Steria (+8%) reported the fastest growth within our top 10 this year, though thanks to external growth. They grew 3.5% in France (-1.5% organic), were flat in the UK, slightly contracted in Germany.
Kyndryl (-7%) lost two places and might leave the Top 10 in 2025.
Infosys (+11%) won one place, being the fastest growing vendor in the Top 15. Growth was strong in Germany and sustained in the UK.
CGI (+1%) reported substantial growth in the UK (4% in UK£) and decreased slightly in Germany (2%) and France (3.5%).
Deutsche Telekom/ T-Systems International (+6% in €) reported substantial growth in Germany (both with T-Systems and the SMEs-focused T Business).
PwC (+6%) reported substantial growth in Germany and struggled in the UK.
KPMG (+6.5%) is the new entrant in this Top 15, displacing Cognizant (now 16th). Growth was two-digit in Germany and sustained in France while the UK declined.
