Top 10 IT Services Worldwide

Accenture confirms its leadership, Tata Consultancy Services takes second place from IBM, and PwC is the newcomer to the top 10

PAC published recently its first vendor rankings by 2024 IT Services revenue on a worldwide level.

Accenture remains the undisputed leader in the IT Services market, twice as big as its next challenger. Accenture’s IT service revenue grew 3.5% in local currency (+2.5% in €, +3% in $), with a substantial, progressive acceleration (from flat in Q1 to +8% in Q4). Accenture grew +2.5% in EMEA in € and +4% in the Americas in $.

TCS took second place from IBM, growing 4% in local currency (+4% in € and $), with +4.5% in EMEA in € and -1.5% in Americas in $.

IBM was flat in local currency (-1% in € and $), with +2.5% in EMEA in € and -4% in Americas in $. IBM Consulting did slightly better (+1% in local currency); yet, considering IBM Consulting only, IBM would remain out of the top 5.

Deloitte grew 2% in local currency (+1.5% in €, +2% in $), with +3% in EMEA in € and +2% in Americas in $.

NTT DATA confirmed its place in the Top 5, growing 3% in local currency (+0.5% in € and in $), with +2.5% in EMEA in €, -3.5% in Americas in $, and impressive +9% in Japan in ¥.

Top 10 IT Services worldwide (PAC)

Capgemini decreased 2% in local currency (-1.5% in € and $), with -0.5% in EMEA in € and -3.5% in Americas in $.

Cognizant grew 2% in local currency (+1% in € and $), with -1% in EMEA in € and +2% in Americas in $.

Infosys grew 3% in local currency (+3.5% in € and $), similar to Accenture with a substantial, progressive acceleration (from flat in Q1 to +6% in Q4), with a strong +11% in EMEA in € while flat in Americas in $.

Fujitsu grew 1% in local currency (-5.5% in € and $), with -14% in EMEA in €, -2.5% in Americas in $, and a remarkable +5% in Japan in ¥.

As expected, PwC took the 10th place from Kyndryl. PwC grew 4% in local currency (4% in € and $), with +6% in EMEA in € and +5% in Americas in $.

Kyndryl lost two places, shrinking 7% in local currency (-8% in € and in $), and is now ranking 12th, between two BPO specialists, ADP and Fiserv, which both reported substantial growth (+7% in € and in $). DXC Technology (-6% in € and $) and HCLTech (+6% in € and $) complete the Top 15. EY, Hitachi, CGI, Wipro and Atos complete the Top 20.
