Figure of the day: Application Services in Norway

According to PAC, Application-related services (consulting, system integration, training and application management) will generate a €2bn market in 2021 in Norway, making it the twelfth largest market in Western Europe. Following a moderate 3.8% decline in 2020, the Norwegian market is expected to recover in 2021 and accelerate in the coming years, becoming one the very few markets to overpass the 2019 level already in 2021.

Norway represents the smallest among the Nordics markets, generating 18% of the region, well behind Sweden (42%), slightly behind Denmark (22%) and Finland (19%). The region as a whole proved to be significantly more resilient than the European average.
