Figure of the day: Application Services in Ireland

According to PAC, Application-related services (consulting, system integration, training and application management) will generate a €1.3bn market in 2021 in Ireland, making it the fourteenth largest market in Western Europe. Following a moderate 5.2% decline in 2020, the Irish market is expected to recover in 2021 and accelerate in the coming years, to overpass the 2019 level already in 2022.

Ireland represents by far the smallest among the UK&I markets, generating 7% of the region, well behind the United Kingdom (93%). However Ireland proved to be significantly more resilient than its neighbour.
