Expert View: Why Cloud Platforms Are Outpacing Services Partners

As cloud platforms began to thrive, they drove the demand for migration and consulting services. As cloud migration is saturating, though, platform revenue growth is outpacing IT services growth. IT service providers and systems integrators are rapidly rethinking their growth strategies, as hyperscalers and platform providers capture an ever-increasing share of the technology industry’s expansion. While large IT services firms remain essential partners for these platform and cloud giants, their own growth trajectories have not kept pace.
