Chatbots have been in mainstream use in both the enterprise and consumer worlds for the last decade. There have been increasing attempts to improve their effectiveness through the use of artificial intelligence (AI), with Meta unveiling the latest iteration of its AI-driven chatbot. But while the technology has advanced at speed, there are still some major challenges that need to be addressed to take it to the next level.
