Cybersecurity - Capgemini - Vendor Profile - Worldwide

Capgemini enters 2026 as one of the world’s leading cybersecurity services providers, combining proprietary research intelligence, a broad managed security portfolio, and a growing role in public-sector digital sovereignty. The group anchors its 2026 strategy in five imperatives published by the Global Head of Cybersecurity, Marco Pereira, in February 2026: AI-powered security operations, zero trust adoption, quantum readiness, digital sovereignty, and identity/data-first architectures.

The Capgemini Research Institute (CRI) produced six major cybersecurity publications in twelve months, establishing market-shaping benchmarks, including a 97% GenAI breach rate and a 742% increase in supply chain cyberattacks between 2019 and 2022.

The most significant 2025–2026 milestone is the European Commission MC17 FREIA framework contract, all three lots, covering 71 EU institutions, bodies, and agencies, in consortium with Airbus Protect, PwC, and NVISO. This was complemented by the ECB Digital Euro and SAP Sovereign Cloud contracts.
