Cloud Computing – ServiceNow – Vendor Profile – Worldwide

Overview. ServiceNow has evolved from ITSM roots into a workflow control plane for the enterprise. With ~29,000 employees and roughly $12.8bn in revenue in 2025 (21% YoY), the company is moving beyond IT toward business workflows, data integration, and agentic AI.

Core offerings. ServiceNow’s cloud-native SaaS stack centers on IT Workflows (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, ITAM), Employee & Customer Workflows (HRSD, CSM, Field Service), Risk & Security (GRC/IRM, SecOps), low code/no code on the Now Platform, and a growing AI/data layer comprising Workflow Data Fabric, NowAssist, AI Control Tower, and AI Agent Fabric.

Strategic thrusts. The company focuses on (1) industry solutions to reach business buying centers (public sector, health, retail, manufacturing); (2) the Workflow Data Fabric to unify business and technology data (with Zero‑Copy Connectors and an Automation Engine); and (3) aggressive moves into agentic AI and agent orchestration (notably Moveworks and Logik.ai acquisitions).

PAC’s view & risks. ServiceNow is well positioned to accelerate cross-domain transformation, yet questions remain around platform costs, measurable AI ROI, energy and governance for AI workloads, and potential partner friction as ServiceNow pursues agentic control. The battleground will be agent orchestration and value capture across ecosystems.
