ConXioN acquires Microsoft Dynamics specialist Axcite
Belgium and West Flanders-based ConXioN, an IT provider with approximately three decades of experience in IT infrastructure and business applications, acquired East Flanders-based Axcite.
The small team of Axcite will join ConXioN’s BizApps unit. The move enables ConXioN to deepen its expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, playing into its strategic ambition to offer ‘best-of-breed’ solutions in the field of ERP and support its customers in optimizing business processes.
The broadening of expertise and capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics is sensible. PAC’s 2023 CxO Survey for Belgium states that a quarter of Belgium businesses will make further investments in Microsoft Dynamics over the next two years. Growth aligns with PAC’s Microsoft Dynamics-related consulting & system integration market figures for Belgium, showing a 7% CAGR between 2023-2027.
With the acquisition of Axcite and WestSys, an IT infrastructure and network management provider, which joined the firm in August 2022, ConXioN amplifies its reach, covering the East and West of the Flanders region with a workforce of approximately 150 employees.
ConXioN CEO, Chris Debyser stated that with Axcite joining the firm, it can fully support midmarket customers in the areas of Dynamics Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Project Operations. In turn, Axcite CEO Stefaan De Prest sees the integration as an opportunity to leverage ConXioN’s versatile expertise in new technologies, cloud, security, and the integration of artificial intelligence.
Despite being a small Microsoft-specialized company, Axcite serves respectable clients, including telco company Telenet and healthcare IT provider ASCOM. Joining the ConXion Group, which generates approximately €40 million in revenue, will help Axcite to better serve its customers in future challenges.
