Although edge computing is often seen as the antithesis of cloud computing, the opposite is the case. Both IT deployment models have their strengths and weaknesses, and should therefore be used where appropriate.
The question is how these “new” infrastructure elements can be integrated into an overall hybrid IT infrastructure management model.
