Expert View: Data Center: New Construction or Upgrade?

Companies must take into account several factors when deciding on whether to upgrade an old data center or build a new facility in order to identify the most viable option. These factors include physical infrastructure, technological obsolescence, regulatory compliance, cost analysis, sustainability, and operational continuity. These considerations are increasingly relevant when discussing the possible remigration from public cloud to on-premises environments if outsourcing or colocation are not feasible.
