Expert View: AI will boost demand for data sovereignty approaches

There has been growing public awareness of the increasing capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI) in recent months. On the other hand, the fact that only a handful of vendors dominate today’s most advanced AI capabilities, as well as increasing geopolitical uncertainties and a growing social and digital divide in many societies, have also accelerated public debate about the potential risks and challenges of AI, particularly generative AI (GenAI).
