Figure of the day: Increase in IT budgets 2021 in Germany

60% of German companies we surveyed in our annual CxO survey reported increasing IT budgets in 2021 compared to 2020.

Overall, 60% of respondents mention increasing IT budgets in their IT departments. 27% expect a slight increase (3-6%), 25% a more substantial one (7-10%) and 8% a two-digit growth, showing a positive overall trend and underscoring the fact that central IT continues to play an important role as a controlling entity for all IT activities in the company.
