Figure of the day: Application Services in Portugal

According to PAC, Application-related services (consulting, system integration, training and application management) will generate a €0.7bn market in 2021 in Portugal, making it the fifteenth largest market in Western Europe.

Following a moderate 5% decline in 2020, the Portuguese market is expected to recover in 2021 and accelerate in the coming years, to overpass the 2019 level already in 2022. 

Portugal represents by far the smallest among the Iberian markets, generating 12% of the region, well behind Spain (88%). However Portugal proved to be significantly more resilient than its neighbour.
