Figure of the day: Application Services in France

Application-related services (consulting, system integration, training and application management) will generate a €16.5bn market in 2021 in France, building the third largest market in Europe just behind the UK.

Following a strong 13% decrease in 2020, thus being the worst European market, the market is expected to rebound, however not returning to its 2019 level before 2023. 

The French market suffered from the high share of manufacturing (and in particular of automotive as well as aerospace) combined with a substantial engineering services market, while the share of public sector (the most resilient industry) is much lower than the European average.
