Document and Search Solutions Provider Acanthis Backed by Investor Interface Groep
Dutch-based document management solutions and search software provider Acanthis has received financial backing from investor Interface Groep. This is the second time in six months the Interface Groep has invested in an IT provider. In November 2020, it acquired Online Talent Manager, which will further boost Interface’s coaching branch and talent management capabilities.
Acanthis solutions will be able to expand through its latest investment by Interface. Furthermore, Interface Groep will support Acanthis’ management in developing and executing its new growth strategy.
The provider will accelerate its growth plans through its solutions such as contract management, personal management, CRM system, QHSE system, invoice processing, and document management system.
Its main out-of-the-box cloud solutions are DocBase and Next2Know. DocBase, enables users to easily save, find, and share files embedded with features like automatic file recognition, authorizations, reminders, approvals, and checklists. Next2Know is based on open-source technology and is a system that makes data stored on old systems available on new business systems while handling almost all data formats with a simple search interface (Elasticsearch engine technology).
Acanthis caters to retail, manufacturing, automotive, and the public sector (central and local government, healthcare, and education) and serves customers such as the province of Gelderland, Dutch Association of Mental Health and Addiction Care (De Nederlandse ggz), Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
